Training

Institutional task of CGT is University Education, Continuing Education and Higher Professional Education. In the fields of Geotechnology and Technical Geology, CGT has held the largest educational offer in Italy for over ten years.
Master 

Post-graduate university training courses dedicated to recent graduates who want to give substance to their knowledge and acquire solid professionalism in sectors with good employment prospects. The Masters of CGT give access to internships in important companies and public bodies that allow Students to establish relationships with the world of work and professions. Moreover, some courses of the masters can be followed in online mode (CGT Online Course).

 

Professional Course CGT  

Post-graduate courses of Continuing Education in areas of interest to professionals, company employees and recent graduates. The Professional Courses provide a solid theoretical preparation without losing sight of the application purposes and characteristics of professional training.
Some courses can be followed online (see CGT Online Course).
All Professional Courses grant Participants who request them the Continuous Professional Update Credits (APC) to the extent established by the National Council of Geologists.

 

Corsi di Aggiornamento Professionale (CAP)

The Professional Refresher Courses (CAP) of the University of Siena are mainly aimed at those who have already entered the world of work or who have already started their own professional career or who intend to update and retrain their professional skills to keep up with the current demands of the labor market. The CGT CAPs can be easily frequented even by those who have work commitments, since the course is concentrated in a few consecutive days with Full Immersion schedule which engages both morning and afternoon.

 

Executive Programme

The CGT Executive Program is a flexible and economically advantageous training course that includes a “package” of Professional Courses in a training context. An opportunity dedicated to those who, already engaged in work, intend to improve their professional preparation.

 

CGT Online Course

Online courses that repropose the CGT’s Professional Course and Short Course electronically using the Distance Learning Platform of the University of Siena: “USiena-integra”. They issue the same certifications as the Professional Courses and Short Courses from which they are borrowed. All the courses of the Master in Environmental Geotechnology can also be used in this way; this is the only Master of CGT that can be followed even without moving to the Centre for GeoTechnologies.

 

Corsi di Certificazione e Accreditamento
Il CGT, tramite accordi e convenzioni con enti e ministeri, organizza corsi per il rilascio di certificazioni riconosciute a livello nazionale ed europeo: di tipo energetico (Certificazione energetico degli edifici – CENED); di tipo informatico (European Computer Driving Licence – ECDL Specialised), di tipo linguistico (PET e FCE) e brevetti di pilotaggio di droni (Rilascio dell’Attestato di Volo per SAPR e Corso teorico riconosciuti ENAC; Specializzazione in fotogrammetria da SAPR).
 
Summer School 

Le Scuole Estive del CGT (Summer School) nascono nell’estate 2006 con l’intento di soddisfare la richiesta di formazione universitaria post-laurea di laureati (professionisti, dipendenti della Pubblica Amministrazione o di aziende, ….) e neolaureati che intendano approfondire le proprie competenze ed acquisire professionalità specifiche attraverso percorsi formativi intensivi.

Il “Dipartimento di Studi aziendali e giuridici” e il “Dipartimento di Economia politica e Statistica” dell’Università degli Studi di Siena tengono presso il Centro di GeoTecnologie due corsi di laurea triennali per via telematica: “Economia e Commercio” e “Scienze Economiche e Bancarie”.
Convegni di una giornata su argomenti tecnici specifici rivolti a professionisti del settore. Progettati per la Formazione Professionale Continua, rappresentano un’opportunità di rapido aggiornamento su temi di grande attualità e di confronto tra protagonisti del mondo del lavoro e delle professioni.
Gli International Course sono corsi in lingua inglese che il Centro di GeoTecnologie  organizza sia in sede che all’estero. Alcuni di questi corsi sono stati organizzati con il patrocinio del Ministero per gli affari esteri, di organizzazioni internazionali (FAO) o dell’Unione Europea (Erasmus IP).
